NCERT Solutions for Poem The Shed Class 7 English Honeycomb
This poem shows the poet's uncertainty and fear about a shed at the bottom of his garden. Every time he passes that place, the poet feels like someone is staring at him. The poet says his brother scares him by saying a ghost lives in the shed. If the poet enters, the ghost jumps out and chops off his head. The poet, however, doesn't believe his brother. He thinks his brother is lying so he can keep the shed. "The Shed" poem is mainly about rationality and courage. According to the poet, we should not believe in imagined and superstitions about ghosts and other supernatural things because people use these stories for their own benefit.
