WRITING
Question 1: Write a paragraph about yourself so that people who read it will get to know you better.
You could write about yourself from any point of view, or choose one of the following topics.

- What makes me angry
- What I hate to do

Answer
I like to read. During summer vacations when it was too hot to go outside to play in the park, I would sit down on the cool marble floor with a glass of lemonade and read story books. I enjoy reading about treasure hunts and adventure. I like science fiction comics too. My uncle who was visiting us from Shimla had brought me a few books written by Ruskin Bond. He is an Anglo-Indian author who lives in the hills and writes children stories. The books had no pictures or drawings and I was a bit disappointed but I liked the stories. I read out these stories to my younger sister before we go to bed. She cannot read on her own yet and likes how I tell her these stories with sounds and actions.

When the bus stopped at the gate, the boy lost his balance and fell on his face breaking two of his front teeth. The other children in the bus had a good laugh, I was angry at him for making a fool of himself, the teacher scolded him and he was sorry that he had not followed the safety instructions.
